1999 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, fully loaded with power top, leather interior, 5-speed transmission, traction control, Mach sound, CD, alarm, keyless entry, cold ac and more. This is the absolute best Mustang deal on ebay (price to value ratio), but I know the economy is tough; so I'll pay 1/2 of the sales tax. I'm in sore need of garage space for another vehicle project.This quick GT has had a lot of performance upgrades, including a mild cam, in the past three years - power packed but very streetable car. The car looks pretty trick (and it is), but that’s just me (impeccable hot rod taste). While I’ll admit to knowing it will chirp rubber in fourth gear, I’m a senior citizen and I assure you it has not been raced nor abused. If you weren’t lucky enough to grow up in the 50’s/60’s, the car can be returned to a sleeper look in short order. :) I have owned the car for three years (13000 miles); it was bone-stock when I bought it. I've kept it in a climate-controlled garage. It has horizontal aluminum grilles, smoked headlights and rear side lights and blacked-out badges. I replaced the driver foam seat pad with the correct FoMoCo OE unit and added a layer of memory foam. I replaced the carpet two years ago and covered the entire floor and trunk with heat/ sound insulation (Fat Mat). I included two pics of the completed insulation. I removed the rear wing (spoiler) and the side skirts, but they’ll go with the car. I installed a rear seat delete, but the leather rear seats will go with the car. The car is Dark Satin Green (FoMoCo Paint Code: FU). It changes from green to black in the sunlight. I make the distinction because just to say its green does it a disservice. Included is a 17” SVT Cobra temporal spare, an OE convertible boot, full bra, convertible windscreen/ windstop and a shop manual - also the owners’ manual and original dealership window sticker. The car got a dealer-installed FoMoCo clutch kit two years ago. It has had a recent oil change and a new idle air control (IAC) valve and exhaust gas recycle (EGR) valve. You'd spend the same amount for a different '99 GT vert and then have to spend $ for replacement parts, and many $1000's more to take it up to the level of this car.Never thought I'd sell this car, but I have another project on the horizon (running out of garage space).
