Wow talk about a true gargae find, just awaken from an almost 30 year nap, A 1957 Chevrolet true Belair 2 door hardtop. Originally a V-8 3 spd on the column, now has a later V-8 with a floor shifter 4 speed transmission, Last on the road in 1982 and now looking for a new owner to drive or restore. all title/registraion paperwork has been brought up to date and the car is currently registered in my name , so there is no problems with any paperwork, Title/registraion to make it easy to transfer to the new owner. The car was cleaned up and gone through to get it running and driving, now looking for a new owner to either drive and restore as you go , or take it to the next level as a great restoration project NEW AND REBUILT ITEMS; All new brakes, including new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, new gas tank, and stainless gas neck, new fuel pickup and sender and all new fuel lines and fuel pump. new headers and dual nexhuast with new mufflers, no tailpipes from mufflers back, newer battery, rebult carb car runs and drives, good, shifts good with good clutch older hurst 4 spd shifter on the floor all five pieces of the front bumper have been rechromedwith new bumperettes and the rear center section of the bumper has been rechrome, all stainless is nice as well as all interior chrome and stainless trim. new gold Vee's and chevrolet scripts, new griile bar emblem and new outside door handles with new matching trunk lock and ignition and door keys BODY; nice clean body with a solid base to work with, not rotted out like most. the front main floors are good except foe an old patch by the driver feet shown in pictures, the trans tunnel has been cut several times for different shifters over the years, toe kicks are good, the front floors are weak where they meet the sills and will need inner rockers, the floor braces are good up till they meet the inner rockers, the floor under the seats as well as under the back seat is all very solid, the trunk is solid except for right where it meets the rear tail section between the trunk lid and the bumper, inner rear wheel wells are realy nice as well as the rear shock mount area.the rear quarters are nice and straight, inner wheel wells and fender lips, the front fenders are nice and don't have any signes of rust either under the headlights or the lower bottoms by the doors, the bottom of the doors are clean but have some bubbling in the paint on the outer skins , lower front corners. All glass is good with no cracks, stainless window flippers work as the should, dash is nice , missing radio, wrong steering wheel, no interior except for a wrong set of front and rear seats, all interior chrome and stainless is there and in nice shape. The car is a nice solid time capsule that has been gone through mechanically so that it runs and drives, stops and steers, with a bit more work it could be used "AS IS" and rstore as you go or would make a solid start to a really nice restoration. THIS IS A NO RESERVE SALE ON A 50 PLUS YEAR OLD CAR, There are no gaurantee's or warranties of any kind. The High Bidder enters into a contract to buy thecar, not to come look.
