Vehicle Detail
Available is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. It has what I'm told is the original 350 engine. I posted a picture of the engine number. This car has AT, PS, A/C (compressor missing), console, 160 mph speedo. All the interior is original and in good shape. The dash is in good condition, and still has the original AM radio. The seats are in great shape, even the interior lights work when the door is opened. The engine runs strong. It has dual exhaust. I traded the for the car recently, and the guy I got it from bought it from a man in his 70's who owned it since the 90's. It was parked in his barn under a cover, where it has been sitting for several years. The car runs, drives and stops. The brake pedal sticks from not being used. It probably needs a new master cylinder. It will lot drive, but you'd want to trailer it home. This is a very original unmolested muscle car. Everything under hood looks to be in original condition. The car starts everytime on the first crank, it idles nice, and the choke works good. I've topped off all fluids, but I'd recommend a full tune up. This car is exceptionally solid. The doors close very nice and tight without sag. The floors, and frame have no rust issues, and the trunk floor has only a little surface rust. The factory houndstooth trunk mat is in great condition. The front leading edge of the hood has some rust, as does the left and right tops of the rear fenders beside the trunk (see pics) They were filled and the filler has shrunk and cracked. The bottoms and backs of the rear quarters are very solid, the left side has some bubbles, but no visible rust. The vinyl top is in good condition but there are zits underneath in the front and rear. All the glass is good. The headliner and seat belts are all in good condition. I have a copy of the title, past vehicle registrations, and proof of insurance from the previous owner. I'm trying to get in touch with him to get him to get a duplicate title. So as of now the car is sold with a bill of sale and these other documents (see pics). I'm not sure of the original color, but I posted a picture of the GM trim tag. I don't think you'll find a better Firebird for the money anywhere. Please ask questions before you bid. All questions will be answered. Zero or negative feedback bidders will have their bid retracted if I'm not contacted before you bid. I have a transport company that can ship anywhere in the US at very reasonable rates. If interested, ask and I'll give you their number. Thanks
