Vehicle Detail

For auction is a MGB with will take some work to make it roadworthy but if you want to restore it it has a good sound body with some surface rust only. There are small holes in the wheel wells where the water hits the area behind the tire the most. I purchased this car and since then I have removed the old top since it was tattered beyond repair. New ones can be purchased starting at 250.00. It has the cover for the top down and the tonneau cover as well. Of course they need to be stretched to clip on due to shrinkage. The tires need to be replaced. I have shown the body with scratches surface rust and a dent below the passenger door from the jack lift area. It must have been painted long ago it looks like enamel paint with some areas of overspray. The modern painting methods could make this car better than ever. I have it running and in one of the pictures you can see the oil pressure at 50psi at idle along with the tach showing rpms and temperature guage at operating temp. I installed a new battery today. It has a 6 year warranty and the invoice is in the glove box. I have no pressure in the hydraulic clutch line. I plan on looking into it this week and will update this if I have it working. The car cannot be driven as is and if I get the clutch working then it should have new tires before taking any distance. The mileage is low but I have no way of knowing if the odometer and speedo work until I drive it. The floor, underbody, frame members etc look sound. It is actually a very simple car and easy to work on. It would be ideal for your first project car nice and small easy to work on parts are plentiful and inexpensive. I have a few new parts that I have photographed on the hood they are for the interior. The reserve is low. If you want call me at 256-683-6418 or send me a line for more information.
