For sale is a very nice unmolested 79 Buick Regal Turbo Sport Coupe.. This car is in excellent shape and has been garaged most of its life. I am the third owner. Sorry no story about finding it in a barn just the facts. The car was ordered back in Feb 79 and delivered in April 79. This car is has the following options equipment. 3.8 Turbo, Posi rear, AM-FM 8 track, Air Ride rear suspension, blacked out chrome trim,under coating, Chrome Rally, Wheels Rear Defrost, A/C. Here's is a chance at a real nice low budget classic. Needs very little work to make it show car. ENGINE- 3.8/ 231 cid 4bbl turbocharged. Starts right up chokes and kicks down to idle properly runs smooth and quiet.Plenty of power. Passenger side valve cover leaks. BODY+ FRAME- Body is straight solid and clean. You will find no more than light surface rust on the frame. Trunk and floorboards are solid.No dents body filler etc. It does have two small dings on the hood maybe from acorns. Bumper fillers are solid and intact. Doors and trunk lid close and seal solid no leaks. Doors do not droop. TRANSMISSION- Runs smooth shifts smooth no leaks PAINT- Black with gold pin stripe Car was repainted sometime in the past base coat clear coat has a very deep shine to it. There are some light scratches on it from kids moving their bikes past it over the years none down to metal. light staining on rear deck lid above tail lights from when car was outside with a cover on it. Not real noticeable but its there. GLASS- No chips, cracks or breaks clean and clear. Door windows are manual and travel up and down with no slop or play seal tightly to w/stripping when closed. TIRES & RIMS- These rims are in awesome shape chrome is extremely clean with no pits or corrosion. Black centers look good. Tires have plenty of tread but are older and do have some cracking on the tread edges. A nice set of T/A Radials would do this car right. Spare looks new. Wheels have locks and I have the key. CHROME- Chrome is excellent all the way around except rear bumper which has small pits on the topside. No dings in w/w moldings front bumper and headlight bezels are excellent shape. Side molding is plastic and faded. INTERIOR- Seats are perfect no rips,tears, cracks or loose stitching. Door panels are very good . Passenger side has a small crack forward by hinge end not noticeable when door closed. Equipped with optional rally steering wheel. Door pull strap is missing one of the little covers for the screws. No cracks or splits in dash. There is the typical crack above the speaker up by the windsheild. Carpet is original but still pretty clean for 32 years. Trunk was carpeted I removed because of stains. SUSPENSION& BRAKES- Air Ride is disconnected has standard shocks on rear. Car rides nice and smooth like a Buick goes straight Brakes are front disc rear drum and work fine ELECTRICAL- Everything works except the clock. AM FM radio manual antenna works. No idea if 8-track player works I dont have a tape A/C- Does not work may need a charge. Compressor spins fine until you turn on the A/C then it intermittenly locks up.
