1965 Corvette convertible. The body is in good shape. I had the old paint stripped and most of the body work done and reprimed several times. It will need a little more prep work for paint. The original color code is CC which is ermine white. I have a new rear panel for under the bumper and a new front valance panel not installed. The car has a big block hood. I have new hood grills, gas lid and bezel, and taillight assemblies which are just temporarily installed for pictures. Side pipe covers have been cleaned and detailed and are in good shape. I have good rear bumpers, but the front bumpers need to be rechromed. New American racing wheels and BF Goodrich tires just bought August 2011. 1965 is the first year of four-wheel disc brakes. Frame is rusted out in front of driver rear wheel, common for the C2 Corvettes. I have one new section bought from Zip Corvettes. The interior has heat shield pad installed on floor. The dash has been redone. New sound deadener under dash. New stereo and speaker. New horn button. Glove box has been repainted and has a new lock and liner with screws. The gauge panel has been repainted with four new small gauges with new gauge lenses on all gauges and clock. New 6500 red line tach face. New speedo face. New needles. New odometer and trip odometer rollers. New light switch and knob and new wiper switch and knob. The center console has been repainted. New hood release cable with knob and bracket. I have the hard top only for this car. The top is in excellent shape and was seldom used. The engine compartment has a new radiator support and aluminum radiator. Shroud has been restored. The hood has new hood hinges, lock assembly, hood support, cable, and hood bumpers and bolts. The engine compartment and under the hood have been painted. New A/arm dust covers. New headlight mount kit and support rods and bolts and brackets. Have original heads, 3782461, date A-285. Original aluminum intake, 3844461, that has been cleaned and glass beaded. Exhaust manifolds. Have tach drive distributor and original valve covers. Comes with a Holly carburetor. Block is still in car and is not numbers matching and will need to be rebuilt.
