NICE BARN FIND!!!! This auction is for a nice restorable 1970 Mercury Cougar. The engine is a 351C 2V, linked to a rare 3-speed standard. 9" rear, and all matching numbers! The rear wheels are locked up, but I do not know if it is the tranny linkage (stuck in gear) or the rear brakes. Other than the drivers seat, the interior is in pretty good shape, as you can see from the pictures. The body has the usual rust spots at the bottom of the 1/4 panels and into the rockers a little. The chassis is rock solid, floor pans good except for one spot as pictured. There is a little body filler here and there, but not heavy. Look at the pictures, ask questions, and bid away! This vehicle is located in Riverhead, NY. It was found in a barn on the North Fork along with a 1973 Malibu also going up on the auction block. Buyer is responsible for pick-up of this vehicle.
