This is a 1946 Chevrolet Stylemaster Sport Coupe. Not a business Coupe, there is a three passenger back seat. Built in Long Beach Ca. and shipped to Az. in 1946. I am the 4th owner and have had the car for six years. In 2007, the car was picked as one of the Top 100 Street Rods by Street Rodder and Turtle Wax ( http://www.streetrodderweb.com/events/0703sr_del_mar_top_100/photo_05.html ) The car has a 350 SB backed by a 700R 4speed and a Jag XJS independent rear end. The engine runs an Edlebrock carb, intake, cam and an HEI dist. Cruise the freeway at 70MPH with only 2000RPM on the tach. Mustang II front end with 2inch dropped spindles, 11inch GM discs, Speedway Motors coil springs to carry the V-8 and power rack and pinion with a GM pump on the motor. A/C by Hot Rod Air. All four rims are new with new 215 radials on the front and new 8inch DOT approved "Pie Crust" cheater slicks by Hurst on the rear. All chrome and trim is on the car and all the lights work. Dash has electronic TPI gauges, speed, tach, gas, temp, volts and oil pressure. Interior and trunk is Black and Red with batterey in a 7/UP cooler in the trunk with a shut-off switch.
