The original paint shows well save for some minor blemishes and dings. The 2T-C 4-cylinder motor has always been reliable in the light but regular use the car has seen in its present ownership. There are no leaks and oil consumption is normal. The 5-speed manual gearbox shifts easily. The all-original interior is in particularly good shape as the photos show. Dash and headliner are in excellent condition, and besides the small tear in the driver’s seat (see photo) the interior package is beautifully preserved. The engine bay is clean and tidy, as is the underside of the car (see photos). It is rare to find a low-mileage, rust-free example of these early Corolla Liftbacks, as most of them were used up and junked years ago.
