Please, if you do not have a history, e-mail me before the auction ends or else I will have to remove you as a bidder. I am selling a 68 Olds Cutlass. It is does not run. The car is a great project or parts car. The body is straight. I bought the car 10 years ago looking to restore the car, but never got started. I am married now and have no time or money to get this project started. Everything on the car is original. The car has a console shifter with bucket seats. It has a 350 block with a power glide tranny. I started disassembling the top engine (i.e. brackets, fans, exhaust manifold) and I am not sure if the engine needs a rebuild. I bought the car without the engine running. Since it never ran I would assume it needs engine work. All the glass and body panels are in very good condition. The rear seat was removed by my brother when he was using it as a reference to do his seat covers on his 69 Cutlass. I have the seat. Also, when I bought the car 10 years ago, I lost the registration. It is a transferable registration . I called New York Department of Motor Vehicles Title Department and they told me that if buyer is from NY, I would have to fill out a MV-51 Statement of Ownership and MV-51B Bill of Sale. You would take both of these documents to NY DMV to apply for your new transferable registration (which is the title for older cars) showing the buyer as the owner. If you are an out-of-state buyer, I would have to go DMV and register the car. They would issue me a transferable registration upon picking up the car, I would sign over the registration (which is the title) . The buyer will be responsible to pick the car up. The car is sold as is.
