Thank you for looking at my listing and I hope you enjoy my presentation. F-250 Overview: Not your everyday run of the mill truck. This truck has all the good options including leather interior, heated mirrors, power rear window, block heater, climate control, short bed, and crew cab. Not my typical listing because I typically list for others and this is my personal truck and has been for a while. When I got the truck it had just over 189K on it and ran fine but then I stumbled across a deal I could not refuse. I found a complete 2006 Ford F-250 6.0 Powerstroke drive train with 65K on it, it had everything I wish I had with the miles, purchased it and began the swap at my mechanics shop. Here is the really good news if you are looking for a solid truck either for personal or work here it is: You get a 2006 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke engine, transmission, front and rear axles, transfer case and suspension with less than 68K miles for a 2005 Ford F-250 189K price. To make my self clear, the only thing left on my truck that actually has 189K is the body and the frame which are both non-wearable items. I even put the odometer from the other truck in to match the powertrain and to keep track of future services. Just a tid bit more about the swap, the 6.0 diesel engine was made from 2003-2007 with the best of the engines being 2005-2007. Overall these engines were identical with minor changes in the engine compartment. The 2005-2007 years were identical, which means that every part is the same, you can walk into any parts store and buy either a 05 or 06 part and they are the exact same so no guessing. Also this engine is all stock, the engine compartment is as it would have come from the factory. Obviously with this drivetrain being extremely low miles it drives great, starts right up even on cold mornings, full power, idles perfect, no engine lights, no engine leaks, absolutely no blowby, and drives straight down the road. Each Ford part is stamped with a serial number / part number which will coincide with the 2006 truck parts. I also have photos of the old parts and I do have the original gauge cluster in case you wanted to go back to the info screen and white gauges. The body of this truck in good shape with no accidents. There are a few minor dings, scratches and pain flaking mainly around the wheel wells which did have the black fender flairs but I cracked one so I pulled them off, it has nice running boards but the plastic end caps are cracked. The bed has a spray in liner. The front bumper is a Warn bumper and does have a winch mount. The tires are ok but not great, the passenger rear tire has a little more wear showing. There is no hail damage. This truck does not have rear parking sensors, nor does it have a sunroof of any kind. It does have leather Lariat interior that is in good shape, only driver seat has wear mark where the driver slides in and out, carpet is in good shape with only one dirty area on rear floorboards. This truck does not have any rust on it and has never been off-roaded. Before the swaps were done all miles were highway. The trailer lights work but the trailer braking will need to have wires ran to the rear. Brakes are all good, no squeaks or grinding. Heated mirrors, power windows, power seats, air bags, and nice center storage console. Rear seats fold up for extra storage space in the rear. Both front doors have small holes drilled for spot lights which I removed but will include with the truck. Truck has digital climate control and heater rocks, has A/C but will need a recharge, never recharged it after drivestrain swap but worked great prior to swap. Has nice stereo system with 6 disc cd changer, all electronics work and truck has nice security alarm installed. Has tow package and full size spare tire. Front windshield has no cracks and I could only find two small rock chips. I was planning to keep the truck but I am focusing on getting my business up and running and I already have two other trucks. I never towed anything with the truck other than my snowmobile or dirt bikes. It drives nice down highway and cruises awesome, it has plenty of power and sounds great with exhaust system. It rides like a Ford but it feels like your on top of the world, I have always enjoyed this truck's ride comfort since the day I got it. Since the entire swap I have put just under 3,000 miles and could not be more pleased. I have put Rotella full synthetic diesel oil in it which I would recommend in any 6.0 diesel. You will not be displeased, it runs better than any 6.0 diesel I have ever come across.
