Fresh off the Rotisserie a Fully Restored Pro-Touring 1967 Camaro 454 Over $40,000 in receipts not including the original purchase price and tons of other miscellaneous expenses ONLY NPD or NOS parts were used and only 16 Miles are on the Restoration. Where to start I bought the car about 2 years back and had it completely Repainted Professionally which was a major task on its own as the paint that was on it had 4 old paint layers underneath of it needless to say I do cars right and had the Body Shop take down every old layer by hand all the way down to the original sheet metal, car was disassembled and Painted Piece by Piece, Doors were removed, Hood was removed, Trunk was removed, Fenders were removed along with all Emblems, etc. NO RUST repairs were needed and NO Bondo was used as it is a no hit body, Starting from the steel 3 coats of Primer were laid down sanding between coats to ensure a smooth finish, then 5 coats of PPG Tuxedo Black paint was applied followed by 3 coats of Cortez Silver for the Stripes and then 5 Coats of PPG Clear Coat laid over the entire car making the Stripes as Smooth as the Paint, No Waves at All, then the Wet-Sanding started with 1500 grit first, then 2000, and finally 3000 grit followed by a 3 stage buffing process bringing this Camaro to a Mirror Finish and believe me she shines like a black diamond. All this work totaled a little over 9500.00 and uncountable man-hours. The Underneath had all New Sheet Metal put in including New Floors, New Exhaust, New Body Bushings, New Springs, All New Front End and I mean Everything New or Replaced, New Ball Joints, New Disc Brake System, New Rotors, New Calipers, New Brake Lines, New Dust Shields, New Inner Fender, New Hooker Headers, New Spindles Factory Height, New Tie Rods, New Shocks, New Control Arms, New Bolts, New Motor Mounts, etc. etc. The Trunk is original and in excellent shape. The Drive Train was done about 16 Miles ago yes 16 Miles, All Work was Done Professionally by PowerHouse Performance in Ocala, FL a very reputable shop have all receipts the 454 was pulled and rebuilt from top to bottom with all new machine work, bored .30over, New Oil Pan. New High Performace Bearings, reconditioned GM Forged Crank, New High Volume Oil Pump, Shot Peened and Stress Relived High Performance Connecting Rods, Forged Pistons, New Stage 2 Camshaft, Hi-Po Gm Heads with Port Work, Holley Intake and an Edelbrock Carburetor all top off this Highly Detailed Engine Compartment the 454 was Dynoed at PowerHouse and put down 446.3 Horse, and Runs off 93 Pump Gas, The Transmission is a 700R4 Overdrive making cruising this beauty a pleasure with a B&M Shift Kit, Corvette Servo, and other goodies. The Rear End is a 8.2 High Performance all Rebuilt with a Richmond 3:73 Gear, Performance Axles, High Performance Bearings and Seals, and a Eaton Posi-Trac Unit. Brand New Rally Wheels with Brand New BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires top it all off. Interior is One-of-a-Kind with New Black Leather Interior yes Leather not Vinyl, Aftermarket High Back Buckets with New Foam, New Springs, New Hog-Clips, Power Driver Seat but not hooked up, Newly Redone Original Back Seat as well with New Foam, New Springs, and Recovered in Black Leather to match the fronts, New Carpet, New Heat Padding, New Door Panels Front and Rear, New Window Cranks, New Door Handles, New Headliner, and Bows, New Sunvisors, New Dome Light, New Lenses, New Sunpro and Equuis Aftermarket Gauges all Work, 16 Miles on the Speedometer as what is on the Restoration, New Sill Plates, New B&M Shifter, New Grant Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel, New Dash Pad, New Package Tray, you name it its new in the inside, it is equipped with a later model Radio that works great and works in the original Radio holes so no cutting of the Dash was required unlike most others. New Front Windshield, New Weather-stripping Throughout, New Door Bumpers and Bushings, New Pins and Bolts, on and on…..
