You are looking at a 1962 Mercury Comet. I have just had some work done on this car and it is now a great driver. The mileage reads about 3k but I do not know if thats correct or not. It could be 103k from the odometer rolling over or the odometer could have been replaced at some point in its life but thats close to what it read when I purchased it about 6 months ago. I have just had the engine tuned up and some electrical work done. The headlights and tail lights were rewired and fixed. The headlight switch and wiper switch were both replaced. The pressure switch for the brake lights was replaced. The Fuel pump and filter were both replaced. The gas tank is new. The 2 mufflers are new. The pan seal on the transmission is new but there is a minor leak when the car idles from the tranny and I do not know where it is coming from. The car starts rite up everytime. It shifts smoothly and idles great. The new mufflers sound great and compliment the V8 engine. The vacume wipers work great. The only bad thing about the car I must disclose any buyer is the radio and the heater fan do not turn on. I am sure its just a electrical thing but I never had those issues looked at when I had the work done to it. Otherwise its a great car. The body is in great shape for a 62 as you can observe in the pictures. There are new seatbelts, a new car cover and a manual that comes with the car. If you have any questions please let me know.
