1980 Triumph TR8 ENGINE Engine runs well with no knocks, smoke, or noise. Oil pressure and compression are all good. Holley 4bbl Carburetor and Edelbrock Manifold (original carbs and manifold included in sale) Crane Cams Fireball XR700 Electronic IgnitionHi-Torq Gear Reduction Starter New ignition switch Tubular Headers Custom, aluminized, 2.25" Dual ExhaustMileage listed above is the current odometer reading; I have no previous history but the car appears low mileage BRAKES AND SUSPENSION New front and rear brakes and rear wheel cylinders New TS Imported Automotive Coil Spring Set (front and rear) New KYB shocks (front and rear) New needle bearing upper front strut pivot bearings installed New Rear Suspension Bump Stops New Steering Column Firewall Bushing Front suspension bushings and coil spring seats all new New front stut bellows New Rack and Pinion bellows set New shifter poly bushings Anti-sway bar anti-dive kit installed along with new sway bar bushings All four wheels have the original TR8 Rally wheel. The spare is also a Rally wheel. Tire tread is good, but tires are getting old and should be replaced Car has manual rack and pinion installed, but supplied with the car is the original power steering rack and pump and hoses. (With the upper strut pivot needle bearings installed, you really don't need power steering.) INTERIOR Car includes a new (but not installed) Robbins convertible top ($500 value) Under the seat covers is the original seat upholstery, but it is very worn. Car is air conditioned equipped, but the under-hood components (compressor and condener) are not installed (but these parts are supplied with the car).Bolt-in Roll Bar (clears convertible top frame and does not interfere with operation BODY The paint is fair, looks decent from 20 feet. Some previous owner painted the car red, but the car was originally dark green (as can be seen in the engine and trunk pictures). Body is straight and very rust free. No rust underneath, but there are a couple small spots around the wheel wells. TERMS No warranty expressed or implied. Buyer can pick up in Austin, Tx or if you need shipping you must arrange it. However, I will work with the shipper to load the car if necessary. All funds must clear prior to the car being picked up.
