This 2003 BWM LT was bought from a licensed re-builder that ended up going bankrupt and skipping the country. I ended up with the bike and no clear title. A carfax check found a salvage title and I contacted the insurance and got a certified copy. When the bike was delivered it came with a temp. plate and I rode it for 10000 miles. It was great. The re-builder was in business for years until this and came highly recommended. Several states allow for titling a salvage bike but unfortunately mine is not one of them. Check with your local DMV or buy it as a parts bike. I added Muth signal mirrors, front and rear floor boards with a front lowering kit. And a brand new Kontour cool comfort seat. The seat was purchased after the trip and has been mounted but never used. The bike come with all the stock options for a 2003, heated grips, heated seats, power windshield, radio, CD player.
