After driving my beloved Ranchero since I got my driver's license twelve years ago, I've finally made the heartbreaking decision to sell her. A combination of moving to the East Coast and not being able to give her the proper attention she deserves has led to the decision. My baby ("Shania") had her 200 Straight-Six engine rebuilt back in 2000 and has about 65k miles on the rebuild. She still runs smoothly, but is choppy warming up in cold weather (single-barrel carb has been rebuilt 3 times - these Falcons all have the same carb issues.....one of the items I never had the time to correctly figure out). She's smooth on the highway and cruises wonderfully. A few upgrades made: - Power disc brakes in front (HUGE difference; this is a must for all Falcon/Ranchero owners) - Electric fan (switch is located on lower left of dash) - Sound system w/ subwoofer (located behind passenger seat) and amplifier (under driver seat) w/ speaker panels up front and two speakers in back shelf - Tie-down clamps installed in truck bed - Battery was replaced two months ago A few faults: - Car was dented in front right panel a couple years back (in pictures) - Steering wheel could be replaced (the aftermarket one I got ten years ago was cheap/ good ones can be found for $100) - Gas cap was stolen five years ago (typical for these older cars) / filler tube is touchy and filling up can lead to spill if not careful - Needs a paint job. She was painted ten years ago and is fading, as well as chipped. - Back chrome needs to be redone Her cosmetic flaws are apparent when you look at her close, but mechanically she's solid and anyone would be lucky to have her. I'm asking $3,300 OBO. She's got a clean title and current registration. Thank you for looking
