Here it is, the harder and harder to find Bubbletop Impala. I'll start off by saying this is really good start for somebody that doesn't have a ton of money to dump into a car. This is a 6 cylinder, automatic 2 speed powerglide, It does run very good and drives. Needs exhaust, The car has not been on the open road in quite some time so it will have to be trailered. The previous owner started a novice restoration, basically he took all the trim off and started to do some body work.There is prior work done in quarter panels.Bottom of driver's door has rust. I was told brakes were new but did not pull drums off. It does stop but seems to need an adjusting. Included are new pre bent brake lines and rubber lines. It doesn't need them but they go with car along with new in box universal joints. It has recent tune up, ie= plugs, wires,cap,roter and new hoses. Trunk is full of the parts that were taken off. I can only assume they are all there, I did not inventory the stuff but there's a bunch. Tires are new but one has a sidewall bubble. All glass is good except driver's side wing window has a crack but comes with a replacement one. Interior needs done but perfect if you like Mexican Blankets. Floors and trunk were patched in a few spots some time ago and appears to be done by a backyard mechanic. They will eventually need replaced but it all depends on new owner, inner rockers as well. Frame looks good. Keep in mind I am not a pro body man, this is my honest opinion about the car. In comparison to other 61's on ebay, I'm sure most will agree this car is priced to sell quick.
