1974 Triumph TR-6!!! Here is an absolutely gorgeous 1974 Triumph TR-6 finished in the iconic British Racing Green over a Black interior!!! This is a great looking car but it is also a great driving car. This car was cosmetically restored and has had a recent mechanical restoration where 15k dollars was spent on the mechanicals. This car features a fully rebuilt engine, rebuilt carbs, new clutch and throw out bearing, rebuilt rear end and mounts, rebuilt brake and clutch cylinders, rebuilt suspension with tube shock conversion, 5 new chrome wire wheels with matching Red Line tires... the list goes on and on... This car was professionally rebuilt and it is the best driving TR6 I have ever come across. The sound this fully rebuilt engine makes breathing through the Pace Setter exhaust is unbelievable!!! The paint job is beautiful and the body is laser straight. The black interior is in excellent condition and features a brand new wood dash and all of the dash gauges have been rebuilt or gone through as well. This is an extremely well sorted car with no issues. This car has been driven and enjoyed and I feel confident this car could make a long journey with no issues. There are not many TR-6s you can say that about!!! This car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically. If you are looking for a great looking and great driving TR-6... you have found it!!! The TR-6 is one of the most coveted affordable classic British sports cars and with the top down on a spring day its easy to understand why. Click to enlarge Exterior: The Classic British Racing Green on this classic looks great. The paint job is probably a couple of years old or so and is still in excellent condition. As you can see from the photos the body is laser straight. The paint job was a very high quality job and not an inexpensive quick repaint. This whole car was done by professionals and it shows. The chrome is in nice shape. I would venture to say that they bumpers are original and the both bumpers are very straight and free of pitting however chroming the bumpers would make the exterior of the car virtually perfect. The convertible top is like new and is in great shape. It also comes with a nice "boot" cover as well that finishes the car off nicely when the convertible top is down as well as a full cockpit tonneau cover as well. Overall the exterior of this TR-6 is in excellent condition!!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful Black interior is in excellent shape. The seats look gorgeous and the padding is in excellent shape. The seat upholster is all free of rips, tears and stains. Really the seats dont show any wear. The door panels are also in excellent shape. The dash board is free of any cracks or splits and the car has a brand new wood dash. When the dash was removed all of the gauges were gone through and everything is working in tip top condition. Overall the interior of this classic is in Excellent shape. Click to enlarge Engine: This classic 1974 Triumph TR-6 has thousands and thousands of dollars documenting its recent mechanical restoration. The Engine has been rebuilt along with the carbs, rear end/differential (a common weak point on these cars), clutch and brake hydraulics, brake system, suspension and bushings. I can honestly tell you that this is by far the best driving TR-6 I have ever come across. The engine fires right up and blows no smoke etc... The engine sounds absolutely amazing breathing through the spendy Pace Setter exhaust system. The transmission shifts beautifully through all the gears and the linkage feels nice and tight. The clutch take up is excellent and the clutch has recently been replaced. The brakes have been gone through from tip to tail. The master cylinder was replaced, the calipers were rebuilt, the rotors were replaced and even the brake lines were replaced with braided stainless lines. The suspension has been completely rebuilt as well as upgraded to modern tube shocks. The set of 5 (matching spare) Chrome wire wheels are brand new and wrapped in brand new Red Line tires. This was a no expense spared build and it shows. This is one incredibly TR-6 and it is an absolute blast to drive and it has been driven and enjoyed since its completion. Many "freshly restored" cars for sale have only been driven down the street and in and out of the back of a trailer for shows... this car has had all the "kinks" worked out of it and it is fully roadworthy.
