This car has a lovely patina that gives the car a very nice look and since the car isnt flawless and perfect... it means you can actually drive the car and enjoy it without worrying about destroying its value. This car has been equipped with a modern A/C system as well as disc brakes. It would also make a great car for the whole family to enjoy the classic car hobby. Click to enlarge Exterior: This 1955 Riviera looks great with its two tone paint and contrasting white wall tires. This car was restored sometime in the 90s and has been used since. The paint job has some areas where some touch up paint has been applied but overall the car still looks very nice. As you can see from the detailed photos of the car, this Riviera looks great. You could easily bring this car to your local weekend car show and show it with pride. The car has been treated to some upgraded "Roadmaster" trim as well and it looks great. The Chrome and stainless on the car is in nice shape. Not perfect, but nice. A couple of pieces are pitted but for the most part the trim and chrome is nice. Overall I would give the car an 8 out of 10 rating for the exterior. It really does look as good as it does in the pictures. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic Riviera is in nice condition. I believe the upholstery and door panels of the car are original and it shows minor wear. The carpet is new and free of stains etc... The dash board is in very nice shape and I love the classic engine turned dash along with the "Redline speedometer." The steering wheel and emblem also appear to be original and in nice shape. The optional "sensomatic radio" is present but currently not working/hooked up. The car has been equipped with a modern style A/C system as well. The headliner is nice and tight and not sagging. The interior of this car is simply VAST. All of your friends or family can ride in and enjoy this classic car. This is a great car to go to the local car show in or if there is still one left in your town... the Drive-In. Overall the interior of this car is in nice shape and has a nice level of patina.. Click to enlarge Engine: This Riveras Super 322ci V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine bay looks very factory, still sporting its factory air cleaner set up. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The dyna-flow automatic transmission is smooth running and shifting. The car rides smoothly and tracks perfectly down the road. There is virtually no slop in the steering and it steers nicely. The factory front drum brakes have been swapped out in favor of a nice pair of disc brakes. The disc brakes are a very nice upgrade to have and make a considerable difference in stopping power. The car is a joy to motor around town in. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in.
