I'd never heard of a Talladega T-Bird when I came across this a while back. doing my due diligence I found out there were only 500 of them built, all the same color. this car has been discussed on the Car Gurus Thunderbird forum and folks were saying Ford never put "T-Bird" on any of their cars- only "Thunderbird" and that the vin didn't show any special codes...then someone who bought one new in the same zone this one came from posted more information about them and there wasn't really much more to say. there is no rust on the body however the paint is not pristine- Ford had some issues with their paint that year and they paid to have the car repainted. there is about a 3" crack in the front air dam, poorly repaired and should be done properly. the special package included a body aero kit, body color grille, special graphics, air dam and spoiler, and those nice Enki wheels. it has a HO 5.0 engine with AOD transmission and is good for close to 25mpg on the highway. the car has a leaky headgasket, it has not been overheated. I have enough other projects that I haven't taken the time or had the motivation to fix that. interior is good, one small split on the edge of the driver's seat. the glove box needs a new latch. passenger window doesn't want to go down, and driver's window recently decided not to go back up. this is an extremely rare car, you probably won't ever see another one. it is not something someone made up or just a dealer package.
