Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a RUST-FREE, NEVER REBUILT Saab Sonett III. I purchased this car in 2003 from Bend, Oregon, a predominantly dry, desert area. I was told then that the car was stored indoors at all times, and I have done the same. . I bought the car in 2003 with 81,622 miles on the odometer, and I don't think it has been driven more than 300 miles a year. I changed the speedometer/odometer with one showing about 58K when the speedometer stopped working a few years ago. Therefore, the actual mileage is unknown but somewhere near 84K. . Everything works. The car runs smoothly. The only mechanical issue it has is that the shifter started to slip out of 4th gear occasionally about five or six years ago. This problem has not worsened over time. As a precaution, I keep light pressure on the shifter when its in 4th to prevent this from occurring. The body and paint are in good condition. The Ford carb was replaced with a 1 bbl Weber last year. The brake master cylinder was rebuilt a few years ago. There is fresh weatherstripping (including the windshield gasket) everywhere except the rear vent windows. It has an MSS exhaust system. The oil and coolant were changed less than 300 miles ago. . I will include my entire spare parts collection, including an extra transmission, and deliver the car up to 75 miles from my home if the price exceeds $7000.
