The 1 Series is BMW's all-new entry-level car available in coupe and convertible body styles. With their compact two-door bodies, high-performance engines and scalpel-sharp handling, the 2008 BMW 128i and 135i are arguably the spiritual successors to BMW's classic 2002 coupe. Yet the 1 Series features many of the modern high-tech and luxury features that have become just as much a part of BMW during this decade as the raw driving experience. All 1 Series send their power to the rear wheels. The 128i is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 that produces 230 hp and 200 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual is the standard transmission, while a six-speed automatic with manual shift control is optional. Expect 0-60-mph times in the low 6s for the 128i. Fuel economy estimates are 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.

Prior damage
Regarding the history of this car We bought it from an Insurance Company. It substain a right/front collsion. Right fender, right headlight, right suspension and front bumper were replaced. driver air bag was replaced. All repairs were done by a professional auto body specialized in BMW and Mercedes. Only OEM BMW parts were used to repair this 128I coupe. We personally test drive all of out cars for at least 500 miles to make sure everything is in working condition and that we will deliver a vehicle that is road ready and in need of nothing.
This BMW comes with a California salvage certificate. All safety inspection have been passed and it now ready to be registered.

WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS
Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology:
Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always.
Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner.
If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.
Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road.
With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work.
Financing
If you are planning to finance this vehicle through a lending institution, you must secure the loan prior to bidding. Secure all finances and be able to follow through with the payment before you bid.

Vehicle Inspection

This vehicle is available for inspection at any reasonable time. If you choose to have the inspection done by a licensed professional, you must do so at your own expense. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value based solely upon that judgment. Furthermore, it will be assumed that you have inspected this vehicle fully if you have placed the bid.
Vehicle Transportation
Buyer is responsible for shipping and/or pickup of the vehicle. We can and will also assist in arranging for transportation upon buyer’s request. All shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage. Shipping companies have insurance policies that protect buyers against damage. If you choose to pickup the vehicle yourself, we can meet you at our local airport. This service is free of charge. However, we do require advance notice.
Choice of Law & Forum
Buyer agrees that in the event any dispute shall arise, it will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and litigated in San Diego county. By bidding on this auction buyer consents to service by certified mail.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A NON refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles.
