Vehicle Detail
1989 Chevy pickup Used one owner work pickup truck 5.7 V8 Auto 4x4 only 80,000 original miles. Starts and runs. The Transmission started making a bearing noise and the truck was parked while we waiting for some spare time to repair it. It has been sitting now for several Years and we no longer want to invest our time in this project so it is up for sale. Everything on this truck worked when we stopped using it But now that its been sitting for years things have deteriorated. The brakes no longer work, the lines are all rusted and the master cylinder is empty. The frame is rusty and there are rust holes in the cab corners and spots in the cab floor. There is rust on the fenders. The driver’s side inside door panel is lying in the bed; I forgot why we took it off. The windshield is now cracked. I charged the battery and the truck fired right up and still runs ok but it has no brakes and cannot be driven. If you need an engine or transfer case this could probably make a good donor. It has aluminum wheels that also might clean up ok, tires are dry rotted. I have owners Manuals and even some showroom brochures. The tail gate has been kept in a shed and is in better shape than the rest of the truck. Come look or call 973 728-9322 for info. The mounts are still on the truck along with the joystick (cost $200 back in 2000). The plow is now on another truck.
