Vehicle Detail
1979 FORD F150 SUPER CAB Completely Redone! Rebuilt 351 Windsor and Automatic Drive Anywhere! Here it is folks. One sweet ol' '79 Ford pickup. This truck is in very nice shape. It gets lots of attention and compliments everywhere I drive it. It has a rebuilt 351 Windsor in it that has just over 20,000 miles on a fresh rebuild. The transmission has a fresh rebuild, and the rear end was replaced. It has a nice new quiet exhaust system. Everything works! The pictures really do tell the story on this one. It's not a show truck, but it is a very, very nice old truck that has been redone. I just put on new American Racing baja polished rims with new BF Goodrich radials less than 300 miles ago--receipts included. The undercarriage is really impressive on this one. Check out the pictures from down there. It's been coated with a POR 15-like product down there, and it looks just great. From top to bottom this truck has had lots of attention given to it, and it really stands apart from the crowd. I wasn't planning on selling it, but I'm restoring a '59 Ford that my grandpa bought brand new, and that must take presedense. This will be the only time this is offered up for sale this fall. If it does not sell now it will be stored for the winter and not offered again until spring. The front seat and door panels appear to be non-original but are very presentable. One or two very small spots seem to have opened on the leading edge of where the driver sits, but it's not too bad at all. (see pictures) When the paint was done there was a run or two that was wet sanded flat, but it is still detectable if you look closely. It is not a show car. But it is a nice, nice driver. The box and doors were replace with rust free southern parts. The C6 is rebuilt. The gas tank is new. Rear spring shackles are new. Door hinge bushings are new. Window felts and door seals are new. Battery is new, as is solenoid and voltage regulator. AM/FM cassette radio works well and is old school. It has a new gas guage sending unit and new headlights. The power valve and choke were just replaced on the carburetor. I just drove this on the highway on a 200+ mile trip and it didn't skip a beat. Runs great and leaks nothing. Please only make an offer on this if you are serious about following through with your transaction. I'm not in a situation where I have to sell this truck, but it would be helpful so that I can complete one of my other projects. I would take $500 off the purchase price if you did not want the American Racing rims and BFG's. Then I would put the original steel rims and hubcaps back on with some stock size tires. Questions? Send 'em my way through the eBay message system. I check it often. Happy Motoring! If you'd like to call, phone 507-867-1401. Ask for Ben.
