Vehicle Detail
1966 Chevelle 300 deluxe wagon, 1 of only 3500 made, Car is solid with new quarters & tailgate skin. Has a 68 200hp 327 engine with powerglide trans, Holley 600, vintage Edelbrock intake & valve covers, car has been lowered aprox. 4", vintage ET turbine wheels, bucket seats, console, vintage Stewart Warner tach. Car runs & drives great, currently titled with a valid Indiana plate. New heavy duty radiator, starter, battery, alternator, regulator, exhaust, brakes, shocks, etc. Car has manual drum brakes, but have the spindles, calipers, booster & master cyl to convert it to power disc brakes. Have new carpet & seat covers still in the box, also have all the chrome for around the grille & windshield. have wheel opening chrome. heater does work, needs headliner, & turn signal switch. Has a dent in the tailgate from a hit & run in wal-mart pkg lot other than that its fine, can be driven anywhere. I dont really want to sell it, but I need money to finish my Pro-Street Camaro project. Check the other ads on e-bay, THIS IS THE ONLY RUNNING DRIVEABLE 66 CHEVELLE FOR LESS THAN $5000!!! Dont miss out on this rare car, you wont find one cheaper anywhere I keep getting questions about rust & bondo, take a good look at the pictures, they speak for their self. This car has new panels on it, we dont use "bondo", but the weld seams on the rear panels were smoothed out with a minimum amount of plastic filler, done profesionally by a bodyshop, not some backyard hacker. the floors were patched with aluminum sheets when I got the car & I did not mess with that. Frame rails have scale on them like any 45 year old car has, but no holes, there is some rust in the rear wheel tubs that can easily be repaired with a couple strips of metal. I cannot stress enough that this car RUNS AND DRIVES, it is mechanically sound. the only cars I've seen on e-bay this week that are close to the same condition are listed at $5000, and have no motor or trans. Also, there is only one other wagon for sale this week, & that one starts at $8500, that should give you an idea of how rare this car is. It's not a 100 point frame off restoration, but it's not a piece of junk either on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, this car is about a 6, but a paint job & some interior pieces would bring it to an 8 I should be asking about $4500 for it, but I have drastically reduced the price to insure a quick sale.
