Vehicle Detail
BMW 5 Series: 525i Model with 109,5XX miles. Leather seats with heat. Cold A/C. Priced below fair book value for a quick sale. We bought a new car. Recent updates: Purchased new Michelin tires about a year ago. Radiator was replaced in July 2010. Just got oil changed (always synthetic) last weekend. Car was professionally detailed complete with clay bar service. Please make note of slight imperfections on the body (chips, dings, etc.). Also needs wheel alignment. The car is priced accordingly. Price is $6,450 locally. 281-574-9250. Vey low reserve on Ebay. Kelly Blue Book Values: Excellent: $8,225 Good: $7,650 Fair: $6,625Questions from other members : BMW : 5-Series Question & Answer Answered On Q: Like the car, anything work and any problems other then listed ,windows, lock, int lights, Oct-09-11 A: windows, lights, etc are working. brake light (the one in the middle behind rear passenger seats needs to have bulb replaced). For imperfections, the paint peeled off on the rear driver side above the wheel. There is a small chip on the real driver side bumper. Also, a scrape on the front hood above the grill. Other issues may exist due to age of the car. You can look engine and gas mileage information up on the internet. Q: Before I bid I have to ask, Does it run and is there any known problems with the car? I am in the market for a car and live in Corpus and planned on coming up to Houston because all the cars down here are used and abused. Yours looks to be in fair to good condition and I would like to come see it next weekend if you still have it. Thank You Oct-09-11 A: Although we bought a new car, this is still our daily driver. The wheel alignmnet is an issue (albeit a small one). The service soon light comes and goes - but this has been the case since my dad bought the car (he is the 3rd owner, I am the fourth). The fuel cap needs to be replaced as it may be the reason the service soon light is on. I went to a couple of auto parts stores, but they did not have it in stock. You can order one online or buy one at BMW. Also, a common problem with most BMWs from this year is the radio display fades over time - I read somewhere that the dealer will replace the radio if you complain. It was not important enough for me to spend the time getting it replaced. Q: Is this paint color the original? Oct-09-11 A: Yes - the color is quite popular for BMW from that model year. It looks extra shiny (like glass) because of the clay bar they used when they detailed the car last week.
