1980 HONDA CBX 1000 Super Sport. This bike is a real survivor. Excellent looking CBX. It is in exceptional condition. Only 2 owners. The second owner has had it for the last 20 years. He has always maintained and improved this motorcycle. He is getting to old to drive or else he would be keeping it. Buy it and ride it anywhere. It will not let you down. Runs perfect. It has always been garaged. Paint is in awesome condition. Almost showroom condition. Gas tank: No rust, paint is perfect. No dings, dents, chips or scratches. Sticker on center as pictured. Side panels are in perfect condition. Seat has no imperfections, excellent shine no tears at all. Gauges and controls work and look like new. All covers of lights and gauges are clear and new. Matching Dunlop tires. Front is new and rear is at 30 percent. Brakes are new with braided brake lines and work great. Pipes are DG 6 into 1 chrome. Small blemish near rear of tailpipe, hard to notice from pictures. Sprocket and chain are new. Comes with original manual. This bike has the original 150 mph speedometer (not the 85 mph speedometer) and gears like the 1979 HONDA CBX giving it higher performance. It was only the 35th built in 1980 so HONDA used the remaining parts before the law changed. The law changed in 1980 to tone the bike down, but this one is geared under the older regulations.
