1958 Red and White Metropolitan. The car starts, runs, and drives. Odometer says 16175 but probably 100 k more that that. Presently the speedometer is not working. Car has been driven little in the past couple of years and probably needs a tune-up. Engine sounds good, gears are good, and clutch is strong. Need to pump the brakes for them to work ...they at least need to be bled. They were still working ok about a year ago. Had a poorly done paint job a few years ago. Can see the sanding marks through the paint. Body looks solid, no dents or rust through. Rockers seem solid. Some rust underside but floors seem solid (see pictures). Battery box is bad but comes with a better battery box which also needs a bit of work but much better that the original one. Glass is all good except for wiper scratch on windshield. Probably can be polished out. Seals around doors and windows are dried out and need replacing. Trim around the grill is missing. Side trim looks good. Front bumper has been straightened and looks fair. Rear bumper is good and continetal kit is nice. Tires look good. Inside, the headliner has some tears. Front seat looks pretty good. Door panels and back seat are fair but don't match the front seat. Dash looks good. Overall, I think the car is pretty good mechanically and the body is solid, But it could benefit from lots of cosmetic work, paint, interior, etc. With questions call: 918-589-4140 or 918- 804-4379 cell.
