Vehicle Detail
This is my cousin's wrangler who is off fighting the war for us. He has owned this jeep from January of 99. It is automatic and only has 98k miles on her. This jeep will need some work to get back on the road. It has been sitting in my driveway for about 6 months. I had the jeep checked out by a local mechanic before this listing and and this is what he said. The radiator needs to be replaced and the lower control arm bracket is broken off. As for the radiator he quoted me a price of around $175. About $100 for the part and $75 for the labor. The lower control arm bracket they sell in almost every jeep 4x4 off road company. The are priced for $45 for the pair. However the right side broke off and all it needs to be is welded on. He quoted me a price of $225 for that job. She starts and runs beautiful. And my cousin told me in around 2005 he got in to an accident with the Jeep. It has no frame damage but who ever fixed it did a bad job. Was hit in the right rear quarter panel. Bondo everything instead of replacing the sheet metal. The interior is in mint condition and the top was replaced last year. The both doors open as the should. The jeep had 33 mud tires on it and they were sold before this listing so this rims don't look that good. This jeep needs to be towed due to the control arm being off the axle. This jeep needs some tlc but will make a nice 4x4 once done. Please email with any questions and I am willing to take offers, so this listing may end early. On Oct-12-11 at 08:56:32 PDT, seller added the following information: For the people who have emailed me. Yes the truck does have 4x4 and it works. It only has the soft top. No hard top. Before the broken bracket, the jeep drove and ran great. Like i said my cousin owned it for many years and it never let him down. Everything else works on her. Radio, heat, lights etc.
