YOU ARE BIDDING ON AN EXTREMELY CLEAN 1997 PONTIAC TRANSPORT SAME AS A PONTIAC MONTANA, CHEVY VENTURE & OLDSMOBILE SILHOUETTE JUST A SMALLER VERSION MARYLAND AND PENNSYLVANIA INSPECTED JUST A FEW MONTHS AND A FEW THOUSAND MILES AGO THE HISTORY - I bought this van about 9 months ago from a friend who drove it regularly and maintained it well. I fixed anything it needed and had it maryland state inspected. I drove it for about a month then sold it to my brother who needed a vehicle. My brother had it Pennsylvania Inspected and drove it for a few months then... THE BAD - ... The transmission went out. That is why it is being sold as is where is as a MECHANIC SPECIAL It sat in his driveway in pennsylvania for about a month. I bought him a Jeep because he needed a vehicle and traded it to him for the transport back. There are a few minor rust spots, a few minor scratches, the windshield leaks a little in very heavy rain. It is not a new car it is a 1997 so if you bid just expect the normal things you might see on any other 1997. The rear tires are still good but may need to be replaced soon and the rear shocks are rusty but passed inspection THE GOOD - It is very clean (there is a coffee stain between the two front seats on the carpet) It has always been well maintained The title is clean and clear It has lots of new parts This is a perfect opportunity for anybody who is mechanically inclined to fix up a nice vehicle to sell for a profit or to keep for themselves. I would do it myself but time, money and too many projects have been preventing me from doing that and i dont really need it.
