Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on an exceptional original 1978 Plymouth Roadrunner Volare Wagon the average NADA is 8,371.00 but mine is NO RESERVE so bid to own, got the car through a trade and was told it has 70000 Original Miles which I believe to be true, all numbers matching, underneath the hood is very clean with a 318 V8 that runs excellent with no smoke, weird noises, etc, always starts with just a bump of the key, A/C was just completely gone through and converted to R134 by previous owner and blows very cold as you can see in pictures I just turned it on and it already was down to less then 60 degrees, on a 95 degree Florida afternoon, it has factory power steering which lets you steer with a pinky, all new brakes with factory power disc that stops on a dime, transmission is original that shifts excellent and was just serviced, rear is factory with what feels to be around a 3:23 gear with new shocks, new parts from previous owner include a complete new exhaust system, new Grant steering wheel, new tires about 90% now, new radiator, all new brakes including master cylinder, the entire roof and front end were repainted and have the paint codes it was done right and buffed to a mirror finish, new front end, and the A/C as stated before. The Body is in great shape and as far as rust goes no real rust I could find on the car with the exception of 1 or 2 small small spots that would not even show up on a camera and will not be noticeable unless I point it out directly, all chrome and trim are in excellent shape, interior is in excellent original shape but needs carpet replaced because it is faded and the passenger side carpet was cut out to replace the passenger side floor pan, but the seats, door panels, dash, gauges, trim, etc are all in excellent shape the seats and armrests have very minor splitting of the seams due to age but hardly show any wear besides that, the dash has small cracks and a dash pad was placed to cover it but still in excellent condition for being original, all the gauges and lights seem to work great including the original horn and door buzzer, the wipers work but the bushing that goes between the blades in the cowl broke and I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet but they do work just need the bushing replaced. The speedometer works but wont go below 20mph as pictured but works above that just fine, underneath is super solid with no rust and as stated the passenger side floor pan was replaced and was done right with welding it in, the back hatch opens great but needs one more shock absorber to keep it up once opened. Overall car is a very cool car that could easily be used as a daily driver, for advertising, or to cruise into shows with.I am selling it because I am a private collector and have 14 cars or I would keep it just because you don't ever see any this clean or nice please call Frank at 863-381-3499 with any questions and I will go into more detail I have a clear Florida Title and car is sold AS-IS with local inspections encouraged and welcomed. If a shipper is needed I know of a fully insured and enclosed transporter that does all of my purchasers shipping and can put you in contact with him. As always Happy Holidays and have a great day.
