1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 CJ C6 automatic fastback. This car is an original "Q" code car. This car has only 16,436 miles and is original. Has the word SHELBY on the aluminum intake. This car has not been driven in 27 yrs. Car was purchased in florida by my friends father back in 1981 and drove it home to Maine. Car was stored in his barn for over 12 yrs. His son owned a body shop in Gardner Maine, NORTH COUNTRY COLLISION. The car was torn down for a restoration then the bodyshop closed its doors. Unfortunatly the car is in a a box and thats where its been for the past 18yrs. The motor is out of the car and was shipped to Butler McMaster In 1993 for refreshing. They did verify the mileage and put all the factory parts back in with fresh bearings, rings and gaskets so the engine even has the original pistons. The car has a C6 auto tranny and was also sent to a local transmission shop where it was disassembled and inspected. The interior is a light green in color and is in bad condition. Car was stripped, body work done, primed with a 2K primer, floor pans, radiator support, rear floor pan, and tailight panel were all replaced because of rust. These parts were welded in professionally by the body shop. There is absolutly no rust in the common area's under the hood by the front suspension. This car even has the original brake lines on it and they are in perfect condition. This is the ultimate car for a restoration project. I would like to sell this car or trade. On Oct-15-11 at 07:13:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I have made a mistake and apologize to all who are interested in the mustang. The only floor pan that has been replaced is the rear passanger side. This pan is a ford piece. The other side is with all the parts and has not been replaced yet. The floor is solid and has surface rust on the topside. The trunk floor pan needs to be replaced and is not included. The rear pan with the tailights has been replaced and the filler under the bumper is bran new and is included with the car. Frame rails are solid, but I couldnt get a good photo of the rear that would come out but solid. Springs and shackles are all great.
