This is not a concours or show car, but it is a head turning vehicle I would drive anywhere with complete confidence. Speedometer milage of 102600 is believed to be accurate based on the service records I have available. I have all service records from 08/29/2003 when I bought the car; then back to 08/06/1996 - from the owner before me; then back to 01/27/1977 which was from the owner before him. The earliest service record shows mileage of 57274 which I feel is consistent with the current speedo reading. My records and receipts confirm the following: refurbished Targa Top in as new condition; completely re-upholstered interior and boot (no cracks in dashboard); less than 250 miles on 5 new Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S 185/60 R 14 tires; 5 polished Fuchs wheels in beautiful condition; all gauges and radio in complete working order; tangerine paint in excellent condition; no dents in bodywork or rust in sills or floorpan; windscreen glass clear with no pitting; driver and passenger windows wind up and down freely; engine; clutch; 5 speed gearbox; brakes; windshield wipers and washers all in excellent order. All mechanical work done by local Porsche specialist; verified by itemized receipts. Original Owner's Manual and toolkit and jack. Viper alarm system. As the car will be advertised locally, I retain the right to terminate the auction at any time if a local buyer is found.
