1955 Buick Roadmaster!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1955 Buick Roadmaster that was the subject of a 2 year restoration and has lots of documents/paperwork including the original service policy as well as "Owners I.D." card. This beautiful Buick was one of the most luxurious and best engineered car in its time, finished in timeless coach work. This car looks stunning with its beautiful finished in a beautiful Green over a Dover White top. The Chrome and stainless steel has all been polished and look brilliant in finish. The cars exterior is really set off by the new set of white walls on gorgeous original wheels and caps. The interior on this car looks beautiful and is in excellent condition. The car is in great shape mechanically as well. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and the underside of the car is just as clean as the top. This was not a simple cosmetic overhaul. This car was a two year restoration lovingly restored by a "Buick Man." He did an excellent job restoring the car. The exterior, interior, undercarriage, engine bay and trunk are all very well detailed The car was completed about a year ago and driven to car shows etc... The car is still in excellent condition. This car is lovely to drive and drives smoothly, as a Buick should. The car steers excellent with its power steering and fully rebuilt suspension. A car subject to this level of restoration does not come up for sale often. This would be a great car to add to your collection or to a Museums collection. Click to enlarge Exterior: This 1955 Roadmaster looks great with its Beautiful Green paint and contrasting White roof. This color combination was one of the color combinations featured several times in the original sales brochure. As you can see from the detailed photos the car looks great. You could easily bring this car to your local weekend car show and show it with pride. The paint on this car is very nice and of high quality. The entire car was stripped to bare metal, including the bottom side of the car. The entire car was then refinished to a factory style finish. All of the chrome and stainless steel was polished or plated to a high quality. The trim, rain guards etc... all look absolutely stunning. There are only a few minor rock chips etc... that are flaws. It really does look as good as it does in the pictures. . The Green finished factory wheels finished with original Buick caps look great wrapped in new Wide White Wall tires. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic Roadmaster is in excellent condition. The entire car has been reupholstered and it looks great. The door panels were saved and reused as they are original and were in excellent condition. The carpet is new as well and free of stains etc... The dash board is in very nice shape and I love the classic engine turned dash along with the "Redline speedometer." The steering wheel and emblem also appear to be original and in great shape. The optional "sensomatic radio" is present but currently not working/hooked up. This car is equipped with power windows that are all in excellent working condition. The interior of this car is simply VAST. All of your friends or family can ride in and enjoy this classic car. This is a great car to go to the local car show in or if there is still one left in your town... the Drive-In. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful. Click to enlarge Engine: The 322ci V8 fires right up and runs like excellent. The engine was removed from the car during the restoration and rebuilt as well as repainted. The dyna-flow automatic transmission was also rebuilt at the time of restoration and operates beautifully. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine bay looks very factory, still sporting its factory air cleaner set up. . The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The undercarriage of the car was fully restored as well and everything has been rebuilt. The car rides smoothly and tracks perfectly down the road. There is virtually no slop in the steering and this car literally drives like a new car. There was close to $14,000 dollars in receipts for just parts or refurbishment or original parts not including paint or any labor for this restoration. The car is a joy to motor around town in. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in.
