You are looking at a beautiful 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Kompressor retractable-hardtop convertible with only 64,000 original miles! (NOTE: there is a discrepancy on the vehicle's history report regarding the vehicle's refinancing and the lender erroneously putting 8#K miles, this is incorrect and the vehicle's registration confirms this). This smoke-free and garage-kept SLK functions just as it should; it runs great, no issues with powertrain whatsoever. It shifts smoothly and has plently of power from the supercharger, if needed. It has been adult-driven, owned, operated, and maintained as I am the second owner. I purchased it with 12K miles on it. I have refinanced, so the history report shows 3 owners. Exterior is excellent. There is a small (dime-sized) ding about the driver's door on the roof. Front bumper is also in need of some bug remover. Interior is good, with the exception of some of the finish coming off on the center console. Leather seats look great, no cracks, etc. Convertible functions exactly as it should. Flaws: stereo LCD display is inop (however, radio/tape/Multi-disc CD work just as they should), fan is inop (easy fix-new fan on internet is $100, but I do not have the time). NOTE: A/C and heat work fine, just needs the fan. Everything else is ship-shape, to include: heated seats, traction control (ASR), ABS, power accessories (windows, mirrors, locks), cruise control, cup holders (a must have), and owner's manual. Of note, the integral MB cell phone in the center console is operational if you want to get service. The car runs and drives great, and has been an absolute pleasure to own. All maintainence has been performed by Clark's Foreign Car Service in Little Rock, AR. I purchased this MB in 2006 with 12K miles, and have lived in Little Rock for the duration. Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle. I have tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle to the best of my knowledge.
