Vehicle Detail
This is a real decent rust free 1963 Impala 2door hardtop. It was a 6 cylinder 3 speed column shift, but has been converted to a 327 v-8 with a turbo 350 automatic trans, the steering column was changed also to a factory automatic column. The brakes have been gone through, The fuel system was also gone through with a new gas tank and sending unit and hoses. The interior is very nice, seat were recovered, new carpet, and headliner, The car was painted years ago but is in very good condition, because it has been stored inside for many years, All chrome, and moldings are originally so they are not perfect but nice. The tires are new, The body is in great shape with no rust, no rust in trunk, Rust free. This is a great car for someone who wants to tinker on a car without haveing to start from the frame up, all the hard work is done. It just needs small things like the speedo cable needs replaced, nothing big. There is a wiper scratch in the windshield, also has the wrong air cleaner.I'm selling this for a friend, so please contact me with any questions. She has a clear title in hand. 417 678 2618 Thanks BrianOn Oct-04-11 at 06:59:38 PDT, seller added the following information: It has just come to my attention, that the motor is not a 327 but is a 283. The number on the block is FI210WA, Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks BrianOn Oct-05-11 at 15:35:53 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been pointed out to me that the door pillar tag and the 2nd number on the cowl tag are different.I have posted two pictures of the two tags its the differance between V8 and 6cyl. My friend is the 2nd owner and they knew the first owner who bought it new,I think it was a factory error as odd as that seems.
