Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1968 Dodge Polara with a 383 big block. All it needs to be a daily driver is to hook the lights back up and get a new battery. The interior looks like its been reupholstered within the last five years. It looks great as you can tell from the pictures. DRIVE TRAIN - The engine is a rebuilt Mopar 383 big block. I dont know how many miles are on it are the specs on how it was built. I do know that it makes pleny of power, doesn't smoke, and sounds great. Has a holley carb I believe. Cant remember the size but I want to say its a 750 cfm. When I bought the car the automatic trans was shot. I replaced it with one out of a new yorker that I had cleaned up and now it drives and shifts great. It can Idle all day long without ever overheating are dieing. It holds about 75 psi of oil pressure at start up and once everything is warmed up it sits at about 30 at idle. The battery is starting to go out. I have had the car for about a year and I start it and drive it around the block about once a month. Has some nice wheels on it. Not sure who makes them but there about 10 inches wide on the back. Has power steering and power brakes. both work great. Was an ac car but it was removed somewhere along the line. INTERIOR - The interior looks like it has been reupholstered in the last 4 or 5 years. The door panels look great. Dash looks brand new. Seats look great. Has new carpet. Interior is all black. The interior alone is worth what I'm asking for this car. Getting seats and door panels upholstered isn't cheap. I believe all the gauges work. Has original radio installed but I dont think it's hooked up. BODY - All the glass is clear and in great shape. As far as I can tell, all the trim is with the vehicle. The paint is a little rough and there's a few holes due to rust. The passenger side front fender probably needs to be replaced. There is a square hole cut in it where it looks like the previous owner was attemting to start doing the body work. The fender has been sanded down and has primer on it. There is also a rust problem in the trunk. But nothing that a little welding wont be able to fix. The front bumper, grille, and headlights have been removed,(Probably so the PO could start body work) and are in the trunk. Over all this car is a steal for the price it's listed at. A clean, leak free, power house. Could be a great daily driver with a few hours of work. If you know how to do body work it's an even better deal. And if not all you'll need to do is replace the fender and you can drive it as is. Car is located in the Brynn Marr area of Jacksonville. I have the title in hand. Give me a call at 208-681-6110. You can come look it over, kick the tires, and drive it around the block. Also I'm willing to take guns as partial payment. Let me know what you have and I'll let you know if I'm interested.
