Vehicle Detail

This car was purchased new (May,1964) at Pacific Lincoln/Mercury in Downtown Seattle by my grandmother and her husband, Emil G. Sick, local Seattle celebrity and owner of the Seattle Rainiers baseball team and Rainer Beer. The original factory sticker and warranty papers are included with the car. It was purchased for the then substantial sum of: $6,657.55. It was mainly driven about the city. I was given the car in 1979 and drove it daily until I garaged it in 1992. I recently sold my home and had the car taken to the local Lincoln dealership where it has been restored to the point where it can run and drive safely. It has a new carburetor and fuel pump, fuel lines and bias ply tires to original spec. I have been told it is a "barn-find". Actually it's a "garage-find". The leather, carpet and paint are in original unrestored condition. The windows work for the most part, but this car needs a redo. It is straight and solid with a few minor rust spots that come from its age. I have the title paperwork to restore the Washington state title to me ( I lost my copy in the move). I will handle the paperwork upon full payment to legally transfer the title to the successful bidder. Otherwise the car is all original, not restored. I have not tampered or altered it from its factory specifications. I have the paperwork which proves that the Lincoln has been in my family for its entire existence. I have sold my home and the garage in which I have stored the Lincoln for the last nearly two decades. I am of the hope that it will be lovingly restored and shown as the fine example of American luxury that it certainly is. Please note: 1. Pictures are from March 1, 2011, not January, 2002. I lost the battery in the camera & did not reset it properly--sorry for any confusion. 2. I have lots more photos, please Email me and I can send you more pictures if you're interested. 3. This car is also for sale locally; the auction will end early if it is sold here first. 4. Please ask me any questions you have before you bid. I have a low reserve on this unique car. Thank you for looking. 5. Mileage note: approximate, speedometer does not register beyond 99.999.
