1955 Ford Ranch Wagon Y Block 272 CI 3 Speed Manual Trans 63873 original miles Vehicle title is in storage This vehicle has been stored since the midlle 1970's 1976 I think. It has not been driven since 1975. In 1972 the clutch was replaced-- at that time the local Ford Dealership said the car was ordered new with a truck drive train--it was an option in the 1950's. In 1975 the heads were boiled and valves ground, the bearings and rings were replaced with the block in the car. The rust on the body was patched with sheet metal and pop rivets as was the repair methods then-mig welders were rare at that time. The engine had oil poured in cylinders and turned over by hand the last time in early 1990's. This vehicle was bought new by a one man construction company, it went to his daughters family when he went to the nursing home, in 1970 it went to the original owners granddaughter and I. I do not know what it will take to get it running again. IT IS SOLD AS IS _ AS IT SETS.... When sold the vehicle will be picked up where it is stored North of Des Moines.
