All Original 1996 Impala SS NO RESERVE!!! This is basically a one owner vehicle. It has 152,000 Miles on it.... The wife of the couple I bought it from purchased the car brand new in 1996....... I have only put about 150 Miles on it (I have owned it for a week), I bought it because it was a good deal so I figured I would make some money ( I buy & sell a few cars a year). I have the original window sticker for the vehicle, & a written/signed history of the vehicle from the original owner. Also signed by a witness who is a employee at a Ford dealership in Dixon Illinois. (I have everyone's contact information to legitimize all information if necessary). I actually purchased the vehicle from the original owner but to earn some type of rebate they techinally had to trade the car in, then the dealership sold me the car.... All these transactions took place while all parties were present.... ( I know this is confusing but just call me if you have any questions) The History states that: Careole L Ackerson purchased the car brand new in 1996 along with her husband at the time. In 2005 she was remarried, therefore she retitled the vehicle in only her name since her ex-husband was no longer co-owner of the vehicle. (This car was not driven much at all, The owners only have put approx. 10,000 Miles in the last 6 years, They had a expediton they did most of their driving in). Motor/Transmission : The motor on this vehicle runs excellent (No problems at all) It is the original 5.7 Liter LT1 motor, Same motor as the corvette ... You can definetly tell that it wasn't abused at all.. This thing will throw you in the backseat when you put your foot in it. The transmission shifts perfect with no problems at all also. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, It will make your trip back home with no problem. Exterior: The green paint on the vehicle looks amazing for the year. It must have been stored in doors a majority of its life. Only 2 Minor Issues (That I have pictured) a very small area of the back bumper has paint chipping. & the front bumper has a small crack in it. I have also picture this.... Besides those two very minor things, The exterior is in amazing condition. Car does need some new tires, The tires that are currently on it have some yellow stripes on them for some type of racing or something, I think? ( Car was never raced, the owner just said they received a good deal on the tires from a relative.) Interior: The interior of the vehicle is also in great condition, The leather is in excellent condition with only one small section of the drivers seat where a couple threads have come undone ( I have pictured this but it is not a big deal at all). No rips or tears in the leather. The dash is a little faded which is pretty common on these cars......... Everything works, Heat works, A/C Works, CD PLAYER Works, EVEN THE Original KEYLESS ENTRY Remote work & cruise control still works...... The back windows go a little off track if you roll them down too far so they will need to be adjusted a little but all the power still works. The only thing that works when it wants to is the ODOMETER, I got it to work a couple times by hitting on it since it is digital. It read 152,490 and that was about 60 Miles ago..... The owners stated in their written history that the odometer stopped working properly at 149,000 Miles in the spring of 2009 & they have only put approx 3,000 since then. They were right because it read 152,490 when I got it to work, Currently I have not been able to get it to work in the last day or two. I have heard this is a common problem with these digital odometers on older cars.
