Im selling a 1991 volvo 240 sedan its in great shape and runs like a champ (very dependable) good on fuel. Im a certified volvo tech and I purchased this 240 from a customer of mine who was the original owner (non smoker) after the auto transmission went out, I pulled the engine and auto transmission out and swaped them out w/ another 240 engine and trans same year, the engine and trans now has 115,000 miles on them the engine pulls hard and the trans shifts great. I have put 5,000 miles on the car since the swap I replaced many parts on the car it has new fluids, brakes, belts, thermostat, trailing arms, r/f ball joint, 2 new tires the other 2 have 80% life, new bulbs, the exhaust is fairly new from the cat back, alpine cd player, a/c blows cold. Everything works on the car mechanically and electrically this car has alot of life left in her runs smooth and straight suspension is sound, the body is in great shape, a couple dents but fairly straight body, theres a spot of surface rust on the front of the hood I sanded it down and touched it up and theres a some surface rust on the corners of the inner doors (normal on 240 for the age and being in the midwest) but not to bad, floors are solid not a flintstone car (safe), wind shield has a chip in the lower left corner, drivers seat has a small hole in the lower seat area, rear seat has a small hole in it as well. I have owned many 240's and this one feels and runs great, its a very dependable car and very safe.
