This is an amazing American classic...2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with only 27,955 miles on it. We purchased this car over a year ago from a retired GM employee, who kept this car in his garage with a car cover over it. The car cover is included in this sale. Of course, we also garage-kept this car. Also included in the sale are two sets of keys with fobs and a fuel door lock key, original window sticker and build sheet, original leather-bound owner's manual, showroom booklet, and some printed information and facts about the 2001 Z06 Corvette. The previous owner bought this car in California, and drove it back to Oklahoma. He told us that he replaced the battery at that time, just to be sure he made it back to Oklahoma with no issues. I believe he told me that the tires were replaced at around 20,000 miles. The tires are still in excellent condition with plenty of tread, so this would appear to be an accurate statement. The previous owner also told us that the car had been lowered 1". The package includes two remote fobs that correspond with the memory setting. For example, if your seat and mirror settings are for driver #2, once you unlock the car with #2 fob, it will adjust to your settings once you are inside with the key in the "on" position. It is very obvious that this car has been well kept. The leather interior is perfect, with none of that typical wear you see on the upper part of the driver seat (from entering and exiting the vehicle--see photo). The dash, carpet and floor mats are also immaculate. The exterior is phenomenal--the car is an absolute jaw dropper! To say that it "runs and drives well" is an understatement. This Vette has been well-maintained, and "gets it" like you would expect from a Z06. The oil was changed about 500 miles ago at a Chevrolet dealership. According to the history given to us on this car, it has only run on Mobil 1 Synthetic oil. The Corvette is very close to perfect condition, and I cannot imagine anyone being even the least bit disappointed with it. The winning bidder of this Z06 must pay a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of this auction. Payment and pick-up of the car must be completed within 7 days of the close of the auction. PLEASE NOTE: Cashier's checks must be verified for validity before the car is transferred to you. This is only to protect myself from fraudulent checks that are passed around all too frequently. I will also accept bank-to-bank transfer. The original sticker on this vehicle was $48,895.00.
