Let me start out by saying that this is NOT a "distress" sale, or forced sale so no "lo-ball" bids please, it won't happen! The car is an 02 Carrera Cab WITH the Porsche hardtop in perfect paint. It is a paddle shift automatic that Porsche calls Tiptronic. The car runs flawlessly and needs NOTHING. It is in an atmospherically controlled garage when not in use and cared for meticulously. The car has not been smoked in and has been washed and clean for it's entire life. Here are some of the appointments. One button touch convertible top contols all 4 windows and top......up and down. Engine is stock with no modifications. Body is pristine and NEVER been hit, damaged or painted. A Turbo rear spoiler from a "year correct" model is the only exterior modification. There is a razor thin 3/4" long surface scratch on the lower front passenger wheel well, BARELY noticable. There is a pin head sized stone mark on the front bumper just below the headlamp on the drivers side. Other than these, the car shows perfectly. It has the Xenon headlamps, PSM or Porsche Stability Managment (which automatically "corrects" oversteer by applying opposing braking systems during a high speed mishap), heated electric driver and passenger seats, Bose best audio system with CD, audio Navigation GPS, Wind screen for behind seats (keeps your hair from blowing around and allows EASY conversation with top down), red appointments on brake calipers and front Porsche insignia floor mats and all the other "obvious" things like power windows, locks.....etc. The car has 56K miles on it, was tuned this spring, serviced regularly with Mobil 1, and is ready for a cross country jaunt or as your daily driver. This is my 15th Porsche. I'm 60 and live in Ct. with a home in Florida and our situation has changed enough that (reluctantly) I'm getting a more "traveling woman friendly" car......a Cadillac CTS Coupe (WITH all the "V" chrome and glam options). So there's the story. I have the car traded in BUT do have the option of selling it on my own. If you've been looking for a car with the right story, looks and options........this may be it. I'm frustrated with the strokers, so buy it now, or you can go to Herb Chambers in RI and buy the car in a month for $38,500. Save the 10 odd grand, or don't.
