Vehicle Detail

This car is located in Palmer Lake Colorado. Just north of the Air Force Academy. Original owner. This is my father's car. I'm listing it for him because he does not have internet access. He is 81, (my father not the car...) This car has spent more than 1/2 of it's life under a car cover and when not covered, it was either in a garage or a parking deck. This car has never spent any real time in the sun. 102K miles. Everything works. Just spent over 1K on the air conditioner. New compressor and seals. Kept it as R-12. Car has new breaks and new tires last year. Originally, my father would drive this car daily for 6 months out of the year, and as I said, would either be parked in the garage or the parking deck at the hospital. Then, from October to the end of March he would park it in the garage under a car cover to keep it out of the salt and snow. My father retired about 10 years ago and moved to Colorado. Again, the car has been "put to sleep" for 6 months out of the year there, but now drives it even less. Literally, he only drives this car to church on Sundays to keep it moving. This sounds like hyperbole, but it is true. There are two minor blemishes on the car. In one picture, at the front right corner, the bumper cover has a rub and a tear on the rubber. Nothing structural. Also, on the hood, there is a penny sized ding from the inside of the hood where a tool was left on the air filter and the hood closed. Other than that, everything is as original. No rust anywhere. Original tool kit, jack, and manuals and even the first aid kit. Nothing leaks on this car. it is mechanically 100%. There are some water spots on the paint and mud/dirt splashed up on the bottom of the chassis in these pictures. These are not corrosion or paint blemishes. My father lives on a dirt road. He plans to have it detailed for whomever purchases it. Also, discoloration on the driver's seat, is just dirt too. New seat pad can be purchased for about $170. New set of floor mats and the car cover made for this body included. Why sell? No reason other than he does not use it, and does not want to pay the insurance anymore. I would take it, but I have 4 vehicles. One is a company car and I put all miles on that. I'm trying to convince him to store it for my son who is only 4 right now. If you have any questions, you can contact my father directly at (719) 488-0984.
