1962 Buick Special - (Skylark) Rust Free California Body. Basically complete car. Has 215 V8 motor1 with 2 speed automatic transmission. Was to be used as a parts car to complete other project but car was too complete to dissassemble so I have opted to sell this to someone else who might want a restoration project or need parts. Interior has bucket seats. Car does not currently run. Electrical system is in tact, engine turns over,, lights all work, 4 wheel drum brakes had been updated in recent past, power convertible top, most chrome/trim comes with car (missing Skylark badge). Car was salvaged by California DMV due to previous owners insurance claim. Car was tapped in the back and has minor damage to the rear bumper and lower rear valance. On Sep-18-11 at 09:21:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: There were questions regarding rust in this car.....this car has been in Southern California for a long time. I have removed the trunk carpet, padding, etc and have take a few pictures. The trunk still retains its whilte spray paint and there is NO RUST. I inspected the floor pans and pulled out carpeting in the passenger compartment. I has thick noise deadener from the factory but there is NO Rust in the floor pans. There is NO rust in any of the body panels. There are some small dents/dings in a few spots but no major dents in any of the panels. This is a good candidate to restore or a great candidate as a donor......registration in the glove box shows it was last registered in 2010........
