1980 Honda CBX

This is one beautiful CBX that has a long list of upgrades throughout the bike. Chrome detailing on the engine, near new exhaust. Paint that has to be seen to be appreciated. Here is a list of other upgrades. Thousands of $$$$ have been spent on this beautiful CBX...All work was professionally done as you can plainly see. Not even 1000 miles since all work was done. Cylinders bored 1mm over and fitted with Factory Honda pistons with rings 1mm over.The bottom end was in perfect condition, so the cases have never been opened. New cam chain, and guides, (OEM Honda parts).Had the head surfaced just to be sure. New valve guide seals. Valves and seats ground. Installed 1979 CBX Cam shafts. Installed 1979 CBX carbs complete with rebuild kits. Carbs vaccume synchronized. Tims CBX stage 2 jet kit. Kerker 6 into 1. Stainless braided coil wires. K&N high energy coils. Rebuild all calipers. Rebuilt all master cylinders. Stainless steel braid brake lines in the front. K&N 6 into 3 highflow airfilter kit. Lowered handled bars by 2 inches. Seat recontured foam for comfort with new foam. Recovered seat. New fork seals. All painted surfaces completely stripped and repainted with 3 stage harley Davidson candy apple red. Tim’s chrome CBX chain guard. Hondaline chrome crash bar Pingil petcock High performance clutch, steels, springs, and basket to help with CBX “clutch chatter” Added chrome:Valve cover. Clutch cover. Crankshaft end caps. Alternator cover Chain guard cover. Take a look at the pictures, these items look great. So over all the bike has a lot of aftermarket and high end parts. The paint on this bike is completely flawless! It runs better than a new bike, and starts without hesitation. The carbs are vaccume synced perfectly, and professionally. The bike will not need any tuning or adjustments. The tank has absolutely no trash or rust on the inside and looks like new when you open the cap! None of the rubber parts are dry rotted or cracked. There is no road rash and as far as I know the bike has never been down. The battery box is in perfect condition with no rust or corrosion. Absolutely no cut wires or damage to the harness. There are a few small flaws on this bike. The turn signals need to be refinished. The lenses are perfect, but the housing has flaking paint. The guage cluster also shows some age on the painted areas, but no damage or broken parts.
