Up for sale MY soon to be yours 1970 BAJA Bug...It hasn't been driven since 2009, so you will need to haul it away....I have to sell this car because I simply have too much on my plate..I Had done all the work myself little by little over a couple years, and I will list everything as I remember it, so bare with me...It had sat so I have had issues either with fuel oR ignition, it had a holley progressive installed , But I was always as usual fighting with it because I never had any pre-heat, I just recently installed a stock carb I had laying around, but I never got back to messing with it and now have decided to sell her off! this would be I believe an easy and fun project for someone who can spend some time with it..I have already replaced and refurbished alot of the usual suspects on this car. I dont know actual miles on the car, the speedo is the not the original...the color is a the camo flat khaki..the areas in the front wheel well that had holes and bad metal, I had cut the bad metal out, pop riveted sheet aluminum in place, spayed with rubber coating and painted...not a welded repair, but solid..the rear quarter section wear you see the flat black diamond plate is also repaired in the same manor, I wasn't building a show car I was building a car that was street legal and could be beat up off road...under the pan there are 2 bolts on the fwd most area that i have new ones to replace with, I had them removed to install HD, lower strengthening bars which I had never got around to doing so the bolts and bars will be sent with the car at end of sale,...I was driving it with those bolts removed, the body was still very solid, but they should be installed at one point or another this car will need some TLC...ITS NOT PERFECT,..
