Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This 1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic Rocket 88 is a beautiful car. I love the car but I’m not an antique car nut and can’t give the car the attention it deserves. My father gave it to me two years ago. I have the full history on the car and a record of each owner since the car was first bought new from Tri City Oldsmobile in Louisville, KY by Mrs. Stoll (Stoll Oil Co) in October in 1949. I would classify the car in good condition. It runs great and has been well maintained mechanically. The interior of the car is in good shape except for the upholstery. The mice got to the front seat before I got the car. The back seat plastic covering in worn by the sun and needs to be replaced. I recently had the door panels and headliner replaced. They look great. The exterior paint is the original color (Nankeen Cream). There is some peeling in the back above the rear bumper. The trim around the windows and doors is shows wear and there are some small places on the body and bumpers that need attention before the rust becomes a problem.
