With the original build plan slated for 150 cars, however this is No. 15 out of 15 cars finished, as well as the ONLY SL65 based car built (most were designed off the SL55 vehicle). Using the platform of the 2006 Mercedes SL65AMG, this 700HP Twin Turbo V-12 Tramonto features dozens of performance and appearance upgrades. The body features full carbon fiber package with exception to the aluminum doors and steel rear fenders. The 3 piece Fisker alloy wheels and carefully placed chrome accents give this Tramonto the styling and cutting edge stance that this vehicle deserves. The interior has received an outstanding leather upgrade on the seats, dash, doors, and rear roll bar. Also, the addition of the leather trimmed Fisker steering wheel, the aluminum and leather wrapped console, and the Fisker instrument cluster gives the cockpit of this machine the touch of luxury and performance you'd expect in this car. The Tramonto is one of the first two platform vehicles Henrik Fisker is responsible for creating, along with the Latigo model. Henrik, being the father of the project, was once a valued designer for Aston Martin as well as BMW. Fisker joined his Aston and BMW partner Bernhard Koehler to create Fisker Automotive with the goal of creating a top tier performance/luxury car. Fisker and Koehler recruited a small group of international investors to bring the Fisker Coachbuild experience to life. A workshop was rented, a handful of craftsmen hired, and production of the Fisker Tramonto and Latigo CS turned from dream to reality. Today, Fisker Automotive has focused their efforts on building a quality hybrid luxury vehicle named the Karma, which was revealed at Detroit's North American International Auto Show in 2008. Being the only known SL65 based car, this Fisker Tramonto had a sticker price of $369,500. With its 700HP, 1,000 lb ft of torque, a top speed of 205mph, and finely tuned suspension and brakes, the performance aspect of this vehicle is unquestionable.
