This CB400F was added to my collection a couple of years ago. It was to mark where I started in motorcycling, way back in '76. But alas, I'm now upside down in a GL1000 restoration and have to make some hard choices. So, here is a 1976 with approximately 8400 miles on the clock, and in better condition than the first one I sold a long time ago. This is not a restored example. It is a survivor that has been maintained and kept clean and polished. It had some issues when I bought it that were resolved by Randy's Cycle Service & Restoration (www.rcycle.com). Randy repaired the side stand that had been rendered unusable, probably by someone trying to kick start the bike while it was on the side stand. He also rebuilt the front brake using NOS Honda parts - including the expensive OEM piston, serviced the carburators, and fixed some electrical issues caused by a previous repair that shorted out. I had a local dealer replace its old and worn out tires with fresh Avons. Runs and handles like I remember it. Everything works, and there is a Honda '76 CB400F Owner's Manual and a complete toolkit under the seat. The only blemishes worth noting are all small and on the top-side of the gas tank. Depending upon how far you are from Sterling Virginia I might be willing to bring it to you for less then the commercial shippers (Have truck, Like to drive).
